I recently started my blog, worked on setting up the site and creating content during the December break. I bought the domain on December 30th and went live with it the next day.
I applied for Adsense on January 7th, and it was approved today!
Here are some of my blog stats since it went live:
Shynet analytics (added about a week after launch):
Sessions: 6,623
Hits: 7,726
Google Search Console:
Total Impressions: 1.18K
Total Clicks: 16
Backlinks: 205
Bing:
Total Impressions: 134
Total Clicks: 1
Backlinks: 153
Most of my traffic comes from the US, which I hope will give me better pay rates.
I honestly thought I was being a bit too ambitious with Adsense so early, but I’m really excited it was approved on the first try!
Don’t listen to that other comment. Your website has great stats and enough ranking to get clicks from Google. Just keep up the good work and maybe try adding social media to help boost your traffic.
@CharlesWrites
That’s exactly the trick! If your content is good, people will share it, and Google loves those social links.
Back in the day, I got millions of impressions doing this. But now, people can tell if you’re just trying to get backlinks, and mods will remove your posts (or worse, your account).
Quick question – do you have a contact page or any legal pages (like privacy policy)?
I read in another thread that those pages are important for approval. Just curious about your experience with that.
I remember when blogging was just a fun way to have a space online, but it’s changed so much now.
Also, double-check if your backlinks are real using a tool like href.
I need some help! I started my blog in September last year, and it’s been 4 months, but my sessions are still low (around 100-213, fluctuating daily). I use Pinterest and SEO, but my sessions don’t improve.
