Anyone else noticing small sites ranking better since November update?

My team and I have been tracking different keywords, and it looks like Google is now giving smaller sites a chance. We’ve noticed that before, high-authority domains always ranked higher, but now these smaller sites with good schema and content are climbing up. We manage 87 websites, and we saw a good boost in clicks yesterday on the console. How’s everyone else doing?

I’ve got an 11-month-old site on a new domain with about 300 pages indexed, but it’s still not ranking for any keywords. There’s no manual action in Google Search Console, but I get around 30 visitors a day from social networks and Bing.

Mainly Moz and Semrush, and for links, I like Ahrefs.

I’ve seen this in my area too. My competitors have around 5-10k backlinks from unique domains, yet a competitor who launched about 6 months ago is ranking pretty well for several keywords.

Yep, I’m seeing the same trend here.

I’m seeing this in my area too, but I’m stumped on why they’re ranking. One of these sites was even built on Wix.

Links aren’t the only factor that matters for ranking. My site has often ranked above others with a stronger link profile.
