What are your thoughts on the comparison between blogging and vlogging? While written blogs often stimulate imagination akin to reading a book, watching a vlog adds visual and auditory cues like tone of voice, demeanor, and music, enhancing the experience. Both mediums serve the purpose of sharing passions, thoughts, and insights on topics of interest, aiming to disseminate knowledge. What’s your perspective on these differences?
In my opinion, if you’re looking to earn money through affiliates, blogging is still the most dominant platform. In my experience, it seems that individuals tend to watch review videos before making a purchase. However, from what I know, after watching the review video, people typically visit seller websites like Amazon to actually buy the products. I’ve noticed that YouTubers can earn a decent income, but it seems that making money through affiliate conversations on YouTube is not as lucrative as it is with blogging. In my experience, I’ve found that if you’re looking to make money through viral content and advertisements, videos tend to be easier than blogging.
