Can I Request Fellow Bloggers for Feedback on My New Blog

Hi all,

I’m relatively new to the blogging world, having started my blog about two months ago. I’ve published 16 posts so far in the niches of education, technology, and finance. While I’m getting decent traffic for a new blog, I’ve noticed that my clicks and impressions aren’t where I’d like them to be.

I’m reaching out to see if I can bother any fellow bloggers here for feedback on my blog. I would really appreciate it if you could take a moment to check it out and provide any insights or suggestions on how I can improve it.

Additionally, if anyone could help me understand why I’m getting a lot of pageviews but not many clicks and impressions, that would be incredibly helpful. Are there specific areas I should focus on or strategies I should consider?

Do you want me to nitpick or do you want generic feedback? One would hurt but make you a better writer/AI prompter, other would massage the ego

To be more specific my blog is about edtech, healthtech and personal finance.

That’s not a niche. Those are industries. People need to learn the difference between them

I’m looking at your blog post titled “Investing with Confidence in 2024.”

First, the layout is hard to read. There are large blocks of text, which can be tough on the eyes. Try breaking them up; it helps everyone, including Google.

Also, avoid using third-person language. To build trust, share your own experiences and use first-person language. Since this topic is in the YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) category, it needs a more personal touch, like real-life examples and relevant data.

Some information seems vague, and some numbers feel inflated without reliable sources to back them up.

You have many external links, but since this is YMYL content, make sure to include disclaimers for any affiliate or sponsored links.

Your “about me” section leads to a blogger profile, but it doesn’t show your expertise in finance. Adding more details or linking to your LinkedIn can help readers and Google see that you are knowledgeable and trustworthy.

The post seems biased towards a specific investment strategy. It’s usually better to offer balanced analysis instead of focusing on just one viewpoint. But that’s just my opinion; you might feel differently.

Also, the structure could be improved. The readability might be low due to too many filler words, weak adverbs, long sentences, and repeating phrases. You can fix a lot of these issues using tools like Grammarly or ProWriting Aid, but don’t rely on their suggestions completely.

I hope this feedback helps, and I didn’t mean to offend you in any way. Just trying to be honest so you can improve…

Want to share the link? Would be happy to give it a peek
