Can you run AdSense and Mediavine on Squarespace?

This might be a basic question, but can you use both AdSense and Mediavine on Squarespace? I’ve tried using WordPress so many times, but I always run into issues. I also don’t like how there are hidden fees.

Would love some advice. Thanks!

Yes, you can. I have two blogs on Squarespace. One was on Mediavine for a while (but I stopped updating it, so now it’s on Journey by Mediavine), and the other got accepted into Journey when it hit around 9K sessions.

That’s really helpful, thank you!

Where do you check total traffic? Is it in Google Analytics under event count for the last few days?

Yes, check Google Analytics and filter by month. You’ll see pageviews, sessions, unique visitors, etc. I also have Analytics connected to my Squarespace dashboard, which makes it easier to read compared to GA4.

I’ve heard of some bloggers getting into Journey with around 6K sessions per month, so it’s worth applying. Just a heads-up—you need to install their Grow code at least 30 days before applying, so you can get started early.

@Nina
I’ll give it a shot! But I’ve heard that installing the code can slow down pages. Have you noticed any speed issues?

I haven’t had any issues with speed on either of my blogs. In fact, my newer one has doubled its traffic in the last two months while using Journey, so it’s been a great experience for me.

@Nina
That’s awesome! Did you do anything specific to boost traffic, or was it just from using Journey?

I think the timing was just a coincidence, but I’ve been putting in a lot of effort on Pinterest, Flipboard, and SEO over the past year, and I’m finally seeing results. I’ve also been writing in-depth content and interlinking between related posts, which keeps people on my site longer.

My newer blog is in a competitive niche (family travel), so it’s taken a while to build up, but I just hit 20K pageviews for the first time, which is exciting!

@Nina
That’s great! Keep it up! :+1:
