I’m thinking about restarting a blog that I had when I was a kid. I used Blogger back then, and I remember it being super easy to use. But I’ve heard some mixed opinions about it lately.
Do people still use Blogger, or is it considered outdated and uncool? I want to make sure I’m not wasting my time on a platform that’s fallen out of favor. If anyone has experience with it, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
Also, if you have any tips on where to start or what platforms might be better if Blogger isn’t the way to go, I’d really appreciate it
It might not be the trendiest platform, but it’s easy to use and great for starting up again. You can stick with Blogger for its simplicity, or look into WordPress or other platforms if you want more options. Just choose what feels right for you…
There’s nothing wrong with using Blogger. There’s a lot of misinformation out there, but it’s a supported platform that works really well. No one will know what platform you’re using. There are people who make six figures on Blogger with large followings. Seriously, no one cares about the platform.
WordPress often has many issues, while Blogger rarely goes down.
Funny you posted this…I just started a new blog on Blogger this week! I also created a free WordPress blog to compare them.
I have several other websites that get thousands of visitors, but I manage my own WordPress for those, and it takes a lot of work to keep everything running alongside my business.
I wanted to start blogging again as a hobby, but I didn’t want the extra work of managing another WordPress site. So, I was looking for something free that someone else manages. So far, I’m really enjoying it!
