Hey guys… I’m new to blogging and just made it official by getting the premium WordPress plan about a month ago. I was super excited to dive in, but I recently checked out the “see what other new blogs are doing” page, and wow… talk about a reality check…
I saw posts with hundreds or even thousands of comments, and here I am with a total of 20 visitors on my blog. I know “new” is relative, but I can’t help but feel a bit lost and toxic comparing myself to these established blogs. I keep asking myself if I’m doing something wrong or if I’ll ever get there.
Everyone starts at the same point you are now. Blogging is often seen as something that smart people can succeed at right away, but it actually takes time. Unless you go viral, which is unusual, taking small steps consistently will lead to success.
I won’t lie, when I saw “toxic noob,” I laughed out loud! Keep posting twice a week, and you’ll do well. Also, try to avoid shiny object syndrome—that’s the biggest reason blogs fail.
Do you need a blog or maybe an article S.E.O. friendly???..what subjects are you blogging about …I can even give you illustrations as well…A.I. Assisted let me know
It sounds like you’ve been putting in a lot of effort… It can be tough to gain traction, especially when you’re not seeing much engagement. Finding a popular niche might help attract more viewers, but it’s understandable to feel unmotivated without compensation. Have you thought about exploring different topics or engaging more with your audience to see what they’re interested in?
Start focusing on all the social media platforms and all the possible affiliate programs, instead of sticking to Amazon associates and getting accepted to mediavine (ad agency) and only posting to Pinterest for traffic the first year. Focusing on too much stuff will burn you out.
