Trying to figure out the minimum traffic needed to get approved for the Google Publisher Network. Anyone know what’s usually required or have any tips?
You can actually make an account without needing approval right away. Quality content and indexing on Search Console seem important, though. As for traffic, I can’t say exactly since I already had some when I applied.

It really varies, but a lot of networks look for around 50k monthly visitors, with about 20-30% of that being tier 1 traffic.
I actually got approved for a brand new site with only about 10 page views a day. I made sure to have 20 high-quality posts published first.

Thank you! If you don’t mind, how much did you spend per article? And which SEO tool did you use?

I write the posts myself. For SEO, I use Ahrefs, and on WordPress, I use the Yoast SEO plugin.
Never had issues with approval. I even have domains with zero traffic that still got approved to serve ads. Here’s a link with tips to get your site approved: tips to get your website adsense approved
