How do you add internal links to your blog?

Hi I am wondering how you guys add internal links to your blog post?

Are you using any tool to get internal link suggestions and add them or are you doing this manually

What is the best way?

Find pages with a high crawl depth (i.e., requiring a lot of clicks to access) using Site Audit, then try to optimise them by adding internal links from other pages (or from your navigation menu).

I used to do everything by hand, but it got impossible when my blog expanded to over 100 entries. I use LinkVector now.

To finish it, I utilised Llama 3.1 + OpenWeb UI (you may use Claude or GPT if you’d like).

Step 1: utilise Screaming Frog to scrape the details of the current blog that I wish to interlink.

Step 2: Create a CSV file by filtering and sorting pertinent data (title, H1, meta desc, and anchor text).

Step 3: upload the file, paste the blog where necessary, and then include a prompt

Remain calm while I obtain an output from the AI model that identifies the greatest passages from the blog that naturally include anchor texts or links. Next, pick and include the ones I desire. It’s practical :raised_hands:t4:

I personally would appreciate some advice on this.

I usually only take action when

I think what I wrote previously will work.

I can quickly search my blog for it.

I’m free.

It’s challenging to do it more regularly with over 2,600 postings.

I am aware of how crucial internal linking is, and I also know that posting links to previous content from subsequent articles or from earlier pieces themselves may help them gain more visibility.

I’ve never kept up with spreadsheets or anything like. When all I’m trying to do is create, publish, and get over with it, it feels like a lot more labour.

If there’s a simple way to accomplish this, please let me know!

The optimal method for adding internal links may vary depending on your SEO strategy, content volume, and website size. When working on individual posts or on smaller websites, manual linking might be enough and provide more control. You may improve your SEO approach and save time by utilising tools like Link Whisper, Yoast SEO Premium, or Ahrefs when optimising several posts or larger websites.

Combining manual labour with automated tools can be the most efficient way to ensure that you never miss an internal connecting opportunity and to speed up the process. This may be what I can advice
