How Do You Find Beta Testers for the Membership Side of My Blog?

Hey guyz

I’ve built a community and forum for my blog, which is focused on a women-only niche, and I want to get a handful of beta testers in there before I start promoting it.

What are some good ideas for finding these testers? I really want to get some feedback before launching fully. Any tips or suggestions would be super helpful

Just pay some beta testers, and bam—you’ll get people! :joy: Otherwise, you really need to have an active following and decent traffic for a forum to succeed. Why would I choose your forum over places like Lipstick Alley, L Chat, or the women’s subs on this forum…

I’d like to know that too! I have a forum for women, but I don’t have any active users. I’ve tried advertising on Pinterest and in Facebook groups, but it hasn’t helped much. Any ideas on how to get more engagement?

Yeah, I’m on Pinterest and in some good Facebook groups, but I feel like there are rules against advertising, just like on here. I don’t want to annoy any admins, you know?

Do you mind we exchange links and join each other’s forum?

You could try reaching out to your existing followers on social media. Share a post inviting women to join as beta testers and offer some kind of incentive, like a free membership or exclusive content. Sometimes a little reward can go a long way…

I think u shud consider partnering with influencers in your niche. They might be willing to promote your forum to their audience in exchange for a shoutout or a feature on your blog. This can help you tap into a community that’s already interested in what you offer.

Why not create a dedicated post in relevant Facebook groups or on Reddit? Just be sure to read the rules first to avoid any issues. You can explain what you’re doing and ask for volunteers to test your community. Engaging directly with women interested in your niche can help you find some great testers
