I’m new to the AdSense game, and I’ve been trying to figure out how long it typically takes to reach that first $100 milestone. I know it probably varies a lot depending on the niche, traffic, and content quality, but I’m curious to hear about your experiences.
For those of you who’ve already hit that first $100 mark, how long did it take you? What kind of traffic were you getting, and how did you drive it? Are there any specific strategies or tips that helped you speed up the process?
I’d love to hear about the challenges you faced as well, and if there were any mistakes you’d recommend avoiding. I’m currently getting around 50-100 visitors a day, and I’m trying to figure out what I should focus on to get the ball rolling faster. TIA
I’ve got multiple niche blogs, and my earnings are split between affiliate links, display ads, and newsletters.
These days, I’m averaging around $34K a month from niche blogging. I’ve dialed back on ads a bit since I’m focusing more on affiliate links and promoting my own business.
I plan to keep at it for another 5 years, then I’m out. Almost 20 years in the game is enough for me.
Wow, those are some serious numbers! I’m really curious—how much of that $34K per month is profit, and how much are newsletters bringing in? Also, don’t you think you’ll be able to sell your projects for a good chunk of money after those 5 years?
Newsletters don’t bring in much; they’re not my main focus. I think they’re only about 8% of my revenue right now.
I could probably sell the blogs for a decent amount if nothing major goes wrong. But I’m shifting gears anyway. Just launched something new that’s a mix of content, coaching, and a combo of free and paid courses (still a work in progress).
Wow, those are impressive numbers! I’m really curious—how much of that $34K per month is profit, and how much comes from newsletters? Also, do you think you’ll be able to sell your projects for a significant amount after those 5 years?
