I made 26.38 Euro in my first 3 days of AdSense

The title is 100% true, but I used it mainly to grab your attention. Here’s the reason behind my traffic: . Howtolooksmax, and it’s growing rapidly—around 1,000 new subscribers every 24 hours. Some posts are getting 500k+ views. However, I fully understand this is not normal and will not last forever.

One strategy I used to leverage this traffic, aside from redirecting through AdSense, was to increase my visibility on Google. I think this paid off, especially because I took a general article and shared it multiple times on different posts, including linking it to other posts. As a result, when users search for specific keywords on Google (Looksmaxxing Guide for Women), (which ranked as the number 1 image on Google and has 134k views)** and my website article appear on the first page of Google search results.

Because almost all of my traffic comes from Reddit, I want to expand to other platforms to avoid over-reliance on Reddit. My niche focuses on improving appearance, and I believe it appeals to both men and women. To reach a wider audience, I plan to use Pinterest to target women with engaging pins and YouTube videos to connect with the male audience.

The challenge is that I’ve never used Pinterest before, and I’ve never created a YouTube video where I show my face. But now, I’m learning how to create Pins by watching tutorials. I have tons of video ideas, and while I know I don’t need to show my face, I believe it would make a stronger connection with the male audience and will allow me to create a personal brand if they like my content. I’ve already announced the YouTube channel, and surprisingly, seven people have subscribed even though I haven’t posted any videos yet, which I think is pretty crazy!

For my Pinterest account, I want to use a face that resonates with the audience for the same reason. Since I’m not a woman, I believe it’s better to feature an image of someone who closely resembles the target audience: a woman aged 28, Western, living in the US. This will make the Pins feel more authentic and trustworthy, which will help build credibility and improve the click-through rate.

To free up more time, here’s what I do: For my articles, I come up with the ideas myself, but I’ve recently hired writers from Bangladesh on Fiverr to write them, allowing me to focus on other tasks. It costs me around 13 euros per 500-word article. Additionally, I’m looking for moderators based in North or South America for my Subreddit, so I don’t have to wake up to approve or decline around 50+ posts in the moderation queue.

I know I’m still a complete novice when it comes to writing, SEO, WordPress, and blogging strategies to increase traffic. That’s why I have a few questions that I’m sure some of you can help me with. Here they are:

Pin Design: “What types of Pinterest pin designs have been most effective for driving traffic to articles in niches like self-improvement or lifestyle? Are there any specific styles or formats that you’ve found work particularly well?”

Pinterest Growth: “Since I’m new to Pinterest, what are the biggest mistakes I should avoid when building my account and creating pins to ensure steady growth and prevent shadowbanning?”

YouTube Channel and Pinterest: “Do you think it’s a good strategy to separate my focus on YouTube and Pinterest to target different audiences, or would it be better to combine them into one cohesive approach?”

Time Management: “Do you have any tips for prioritizing what’s most important when managing multiple platforms? Also, how do you handle delegating tasks—both paid and unpaid—to free up more of your time?”

If you have any other tips or advice, I’d love to hear them! I’m open to any suggestions that could help me grow and manage my efforts more effectively.

I believe you because I am already a member of the howtolooksmaxx subreddit. It is a very helpful community. If you need help with Pinterest, I can assist you… I could turn one of my boards into a group board so you can also post there.

@Zack
That’s awesome to hear! I know with such a large community, it can be tough to find real advice amidst all the comments that end up feeling like noise. So, for you to say that you find the community helpful really means a lot. Also, thank you so much for offering to let me post on your board! I’m still getting the hang of Pinterest, and I find it a bit tricky to translate my articles into pin-worthy ideas. If you could give me some feedback on one of my articles and how to turn it into a click-worthy pin, that would be incredibly helpful!

@Chris1
Based on my analysis of your articles, I would suggest you start using numeric titles for your blog posts. This will make it easier for you to create pins. For example, “7 Skincare Products to Achieve Clear Flawless Skin.” A title like this is SPECIFIC, grabs ATTENTION, and if the user is even too busy to click, they can ‘save’ the pin and check it later. One of your articles is titled ‘LESS IS MORE: SIMPLIFY YOUR SKINCARE FOR RADIANT, HEALTHY SKIN,’ which is okay for a normal article. However, for Pinterest, such a title does not appear click-worthy, so try using numeric titles.

@Zack
This is great, thank you! So both the pin title and article title need to be the same and be numeric? Also, I’ve already created a pin; here’s the link. I’d love to hear your feedback on it.

@Chris1
It’s a GOOD PRACTICE to keep the pin title and article title the same, but it is not always necessary. I personally make sure they are the same. Also looking at your pin, it looks good, but you need to check some things…

  1. Balance the color: Your pins should have good contrast, black and white, light and dark, for easy readability. It was a bit difficult for me to read because the background was pink (light) and the text is white.

  2. Mix your pin sizes: The aspect ratio for your pin was standard (1000 x 1500). However, you should diversify. Create vertical pins with an aspect ratio of 1080 x 1920 px as well. Vertical pins take up more screen space and are more easily seen by the reader.

@Zack
Got it! Do you have any recommendations on how many pin variations I should create for that same article or just generally? Would 3, 5, or 7 be ideal? Also, what board names would be effective to begin with? Something like ‘Skincare,’ ‘Health,’ or ‘Hygiene Tips’?

@Chris1
For me, I create 12 pins for one article because I am a busy college student. Otherwise, I would have made over 20 pins for one article. I post 3 pins a day. Also, don’t name your boards with generic names like ‘Skincare,’ ‘Health,’ or ‘Hygiene Tips.’ Make it keyword-rich like ‘Skincare Routine for Women,’ which is more specific.

@Zack
Thank you for all the insightful information. This really helps. Is it okay for me to reach out in the near future if I have any further questions? I would also love to post on one of your boards, and you can on mine, of course, but I’m still trying to figure everything out. Also, is there anything I can do now for you in return, like linking to one of your articles or your subreddit Erlevate on howtolooksmax?

@Chris1
You’re welcome. Don’t worry about returning the favor. I love helping people for free.

I understand, but I still really appreciate it. If you change your mind, just know that the offer still stands. If you’re interested in promotion or guest writing on the website, feel free to let me know.

This comment is empty, admin should fix.

Wow, what a massive return. You people that get tier one traffic are so lucky.

I’m not a marketing expert, and I haven’t even finished my bachelor’s degree yet. However, I do understand how crucial it is to build trust with your audience. If I want to create valuable pins that truly resonate with my target audience on Pinterest—probably women between the ages of 18 and 34—do you think crafting a persona with a fabricated name, image, details, and life story would help me connect better with them? Is this approach even ethical? Could it backfire on me in the future?

I just feel that if I use the logo of my website or my own name and face, it might not work as well. People seem to respond more to content from individuals who look like the person they want to learn from or aspire to be. Would creating this persona be a step in the right direction, or am I setting myself up for potential problems later on? Your thoughts?

@Chris1
I’d suggest you don’t fake your persona. For now, you can keep your website ‘faceless,’ and hopefully in the future when you have the confidence to show your face for, let’s say, a YouTube channel, you can do so.

@Zack
Thanks, that’s actually great advice.

This is good. I sent a request to Google AdSense, but they rejected my site. I use Maven for monetization, but the revenue is very low because I have no traffic. I try to use Reddit to post in communities, but moderators remove my posts.

What niche does your website focus on?

I developed the site by myself; I’m not using WordPress. The niche is technology news, and I’m suffering to find someone to give me feedback.

@Terry
Is it a new technology within a specific field, or is it more general?
