Hello there. I have been monitoring the recent blogging trends and have been wondering on the future regarding blogging.
Any insights or thoughts regarding the future of blogging and whether it is something to invest in?
Thanks in advance
Sure, to the typical individual. Most blogs were taken off the search engine monopolies’ lists some years ago by Bing, Google, and Yandex. As a result, the majority of blogs that are ever seen are mainstream ones that replicate content found on news websites. Does it matter if a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to see it? Not in excess.
Additionally, the likelihood is that the top response on Quora will be listed higher if you search for a specific subject that a blog post addresses, meaning the typical user won’t ever see it. Everything else, however, will appear, including results that lead to often less relevant YouTube videos regarding the subject of your search. Greetings from the “big tech” universe.
On the contrary, for businesses that have an internet presence, they are an essential component of any SEO plan. When executed well, they may drive a great deal of traffic and establish authority on a wide range of subjects. All that is required is that they consistently produce informative and worthwhile material for readers.
Though vlogs and video material are becoming more and more popular, I don’t think the traditional fashion blog site is going away. People like myself who prefer to read text rather watching videos are the reason behind this. And there are others like me.
There are two kinds of persons, in my opinion:
People who favour video
Individuals who favour text
What producers and businesses ought to concentrate on in the future is to provide both, to grow their audience.
But, definitely, blogs are not dead.
But, definitely, blogs are not dead.
That depends on the purpose of your blog. Do you blog in order to aid with business promotion? For you personally, to enjoy yourself? or to attempt earning some cash?
A blog on a business website is beneficial for several reasons, including search engine optimisation and customer updating, all of which are well-founded. Experience managing blogs for many companies has shown me that you won’t be squandering your time.
You’re also not wasting your time if you’re only writing for fun and personal digressions. I started my parenting and recipe blog because I loved it and later on, followers and money followed.
If your only goal in blogging is to try to generate money, especially if you wish to be a substantial income, not just a bit of extra side income, I agree there are probably easier ways. That said, people can and do still make a lot of money from blogging.
The way I see it is I enjoy writing and getting a decent side income from what I consider a hobby is always a plus
