I started a website recently that’s all about travel blogs, and it’s going well. I’ve ranked for some keywords, but now I’m wondering if it’s smart to stay focused only on blogs. Should I keep it just blogs, or maybe add something else, like travel guide PDFs or something similar, to keep it growing over time?
What’s your goal here? Are you trying to show off your rankings or actually make some money?

I want to make money in the long run.

I want to make money in the long run.
Okay, then how are you planning to do that? Are you selling backlinks, travel packages, or what?
Every page you create should have some kind of Call to Action. Focus on figuring that out before just making content for no reason.

Haha, exactly! Without a goal, it’s like driving with no destination. gif
I’ve been in a similar spot. I started with just blogs too, but I quickly learned you need to mix it up to grow. In my experience, travel blogs do really well when you combine them with things like downloadable city guides or checklists. They’re not just helpful but easier to monetize.
Keep your blogs as the main focus, but try creating a simple guide for your top destinations and see how it goes.
@J.cole4
That makes sense! Thanks a lot.
Did you add those guides from the start, or was it something you did later on?
If you can, definitely try other things.
You’ve already got traffic, but you’re still wondering about expanding? That’s like being in Rome and asking if you should visit the Colosseum.
