I’m thinking of starting a blog about spirituality and how it connects to personal growth. Do you think this could work? Any advice for someone new to blogging? Thanks in advance
In my circle, there’s been a lot of talk about cutting back on social media and spending more time on things like meditation. Many of us are raising our kids without religion but still want some guidance for personal growth. From what I’ve seen, there’s definitely interest in this kind of content.
By the way, I’d be really curious to read what you come up with.

Thanks so much! I’m still brainstorming ideas, but this really motivates me!
I’ve been blogging about spirituality myself, covering things like psychic gifts, spirit guides, and personal spiritual practices. I plan to monetize with digital products like eBooks, guided meditations, and oracle cards. It’s definitely a niche where you can succeed, but it takes time to find your voice and create meaningful content.
For me, the hardest part was figuring out what I really wanted to say. I had to make sure my content wasn’t just personal stories but also useful to others. Spirituality is personal, so you need to draw from your own experiences, but it helps if you can focus on what’s worked for you in practice. And about keywords? I find it’s easier to write from the heart first, then find keywords later. Trying to force a topic based on keywords never works well for me.
Good luck! I hope you find a direction that feels true to you.

This was incredibly helpful, thank you for sharing your experience! I’ll keep this all in mind as I get started
I love this idea! What kind of advice are you looking for?

I’m just starting out, so any tips for beginners would be awesome. I want to find a niche I enjoy that can also be profitable. Thanks!
Spirituality is such a big area. You’ve got healing therapies, books, podcasts, healthy foods like teas, and more. It’s definitely a niche with potential if you can create content that stands out. There are also opportunities for affiliate links, courses, psychic readings, and more.
@Evannah
Thanks! I’m more interested in things like shadow work and self-reflection than the deeper psychic side, but I’ll keep this in mind as I plan.
It’s a big niche and pretty competitive, but that’s because there’s demand. To stand out, you might want to focus on a smaller subcategory, like spirituality for athletes, agnostic parents, or entrepreneurs. Narrowing your focus at first could help you build an audience before expanding.
Also, you can use tools to find long-tail keywords with good search potential. Once you’ve got some keywords, they can inspire your first topics. Best of luck!

This is super helpful, thank you so much!
Have you checked out your competition? See if there are other blogs in this niche and whether they’re making money with ad agencies like Mediavine. That’ll give you an idea if the niche is profitable or if you need to adjust your approach.
@jordansmith
Great idea! I’ll start looking into that, thanks!
I’m not sure what ‘spirituality for self-development’ means. Do you think your audience will understand what you’re going for?

Good point! I’ll think about how to make it clearer. Thanks
I think spirituality blogs are interesting, but what’s your unique angle?

Still figuring that out! I’m leaning toward topics like emotional awareness and shadow work. Thanks for asking
@winsteizsty
Sounds promising. Keep us updated on how it goes!
Honestly, this kind of stuff doesn’t grab me… but maybe I’m not your target audience.

That’s okay, I appreciate your honesty!
