Hello! I have an account with Bluehost/Wordpress and have purchased my domain. I have a lot of ideas, a niche, YouTube videos, Pinterest boards, and forums dedicated to beginning a blog. I’ve even attended a few free writing workshops. But I can’t get over one issue. I need help to create an open platform so that readers may interact without feeling guilty, but I’m not sure how to go about it.
According to what I’ve read, including a personal photo increases trust, but I’m not ready for that. My partner and I have decided that this will remain our secret until I’m ready to tell others. Only we know about it. For now, at least, I prefer the concept of being anonymous.
People may be more willing to share their tales without fear of being condemned if they remain anonymous.
My goal is to engage a wide range of people and provide a space free from bias where everyone is respected and feels heard.
TL;DR: Should I be transparent from the beginning, disclose my identity later when I’m comfortable, or begin my blog anonymously and remain that way?
