What do you think will happen to niche content sites with AI growing

As AI gets more involved in search and content creation, do you believe niche content sites and blogs will stick around, or is it the end for niche sites? What strategies can help us survive in this changing environment? I would love to hear what you think

AI will always need data to make its suggestions, and niche websites provide that data. In my view, AI may get credit for information, but it can’t create insights from human experiences. So, there is no replacement for human input

@BloggaLeez
Yeah but AI has all the data it needs now to generate new content from existing information

It will never be able to create real experiences. It can generate data but not with the depth of personal opinion or experience. For now, at least, it will rely on niche blogs for content

Yes, but you’re missing the main point: it can’t replicate human experiences

AI has saturated the writing field in many areas, which will make it harder for any writer to earn money. However, it’s not dead, but you’ll really need to push hard to get new blogs noticed

This makes me think more unique voices will come out while mainstream ones get overshadowed

Content sites are finished. Only if you are a legitimate entity offering services or selling products will content still work. If your sole purpose is to put out blog posts, you are just one algorithm change away from shutting down

@Tosh
Only if you are relying on search algorithms. If you work on building a following, that audience belongs to you. It’s sad how email marketing is misused; it’s a genuine way to build loyalty without algorithms

Niche sites aren’t over, but getting website traffic, especially from Google, will be a lot tougher. AI is still new, and its effects on informational sites aren’t clear yet

Sadly, the niche content site model is no longer profitable. However, content as a part of a larger business remains viable. Engaging content promotes good signals to search engines and brings visitors back. That’s why I’ve included interactive sections like summaries and quizzes. If you’re on WordPress, you can do this easily with the Nuclear Engagement plugin, which upgrades all your posts in one click

Nuclear Engagement creates summaries and quizzes from your blog content in bulk. You get an upgrade sitewide with just one click. I originally developed it for my blog thinkinitalian. Other site owners praised my blog, so I thought it might help others too. Just search for 'nuclear engagement quiz plugin’ to find the free early version. I’m working on it regularly

I believe blogging makes sense now more than ever, especially if bloggers write their posts themselves rather than relying on AI. The value of blogging isn’t only the content but also the blogger’s unique voice in how they express their points. Humans are still better writers and probably will be for a while. You can check out some useful tips here too

I think the future will see two types of content: AI-generated and authentic human content. People love genuine articles. But they also watch movies knowing they’re not real. If AI can seem more real, it might take over regular blogging which is why I use automation to try and create something that feels authentic
