Hey peeps…
I’m just starting out with blogging and trying to get the hang of SEO. I’ve been checking out some of your posts, and I’ve noticed that many of them rank really well on Google. So, I’m curious—what SEO techniques do you think have contributed to your success in ranking?
I’m eager to learn from those of you who have more experience in this area. What are the key strategies that have worked for you? Whether it’s on-page optimization, keyword research, building backlinks, or any other tips you have up your sleeve, I’d love to hear your insights!
Thanks in advance for any advice or tips you can share
Here are some easy SEO tips to help your blog rank on Google:
- Keyword Research: Find the words or phrases people are searching for and use them in your blog titles, headings, and content.
- Quality Content: Write helpful, engaging, and original stuff that answers questions or solves problems.
- Meta Descriptions: Write a short summary (under 160 characters) of your blog post that includes your main keywords.
- Title Tags: Make sure your blog post titles are catchy and have relevant keywords in them.
- Internal Linking: Link to other posts or pages on your blog to keep readers interested and help search engines figure out your site structure.
- Mobile-Friendly: Make sure your blog looks good and works well on mobile devices.
- Page Speed: Optimize your site to load quickly because slow pages can hurt your rankings.
- Alt Text for Images: Use keywords to describe your images so search engines can understand them better.
Everyone’s doing these things, right? So, why do some pages still manage to rank better on Google than others? It can be a bit confusing, especially when it feels like you’re following all the right steps.
There are several factors at play when it comes to ranking. For starters, it’s not just about using keywords or optimizing your site; Google’s algorithms consider a ton of other aspects as well. Things like the overall authority of your site, the quality of your backlinks, and even how well your content engages readers can all impact your ranking.
Pages rank higher on Google when they have valuable, unique content and get a bunch of backlinks from other sites. Plus, good user engagement, a solid technical setup, and being mobile-friendly help boost those rankings too.

Do some keyword research and find a high-volume keyword because it’s easier to rank for long-tail keywords. Make a list of those keywords and search for them one by one. Then, look for a middle word that connects all your long-tail keywords.
For example, if your high-volume keyword is “ChatGPT prompts,” you might find related long-tail keywords like “ChatGPT prompts for beginners,” “best ChatGPT prompt guide,” and “ChatGPT prompts for students.”
Now, the tricky part is finding a word that ties all these keywords together and makes it clear that they’re all about ChatGPT prompts.
That’s awesome! Can you break down that last line a bit? I’m just starting out in this blogging journey, so what do you mean by “writing without SEO”? Does that mean I need to include those high-volume keywords or something like that?
What I mean is that your article should be well-structured, with the right use of the H1 tag, meta tags, and long-tail keywords. Your article about Luffy is pretty well put together. I’m not sure about the keywords in that post, but if you have 4-5 keywords related to it, make sure to sprinkle them into your headings like H3 and H4, as well as in the paragraphs.
Also please use Social media.

Can you explain this social media part a bit more? Usually, we write blog posts, but these days, short-form content, photos, and videos are super popular on social media. Is there a technique to use those effectively?
All I’m saying is just upload your stuff to social media platforms and don’t rely solely on Google for traffic. It’s like speeding things up while also waiting for Google to catch up on their side.
There have been a ton of great suggestions already, so I’ll throw in one that helps you get links from high DR sites: try doing some digital PR, especially with data-driven content, to create those backlink moats!
