Why am I getting no results from my agency?

I’ve been working with this agency for almost a year now, but still no return on investment. I’m not getting any calls or bookings for my service business.

There’s been some increase in web traffic, but most of the calls I get are just spam.

What should I do here?

I’m in Los Angeles.

What exactly is the agency doing for you?

They’ve done audits, built backlinks, created more service pages, worked on site performance, and targeted keywords.

Are they sharing results or giving you updates?

@Zack12
Not really. I’ve only received about three reports over the entire year.

They even cut my budget, saying, ‘We haven’t been producing results, so we’ll lower it to help cover the costs for the work being done.’

It was originally $1,000, now it’s $500 a month.

I went with them because two friends in the same industry recommended them, and they’re doing amazing with the same agency. I run a home service business: window cleaning, power washing, gutter cleaning, solar panel cleaning, and Christmas light installation.

SEO audits are mostly pointless. Google doesn’t care if your site has a few errors; it won’t affect rankings.

You need an SEO agency that gives clear reports. If they’re not doing that, you might need to rethink your options.

Yeah, they don’t send reports regularly. Only got three all year.

They’ve lowered my budget to $500 from $1,000, supposedly because they’re not getting results but still want to keep me as a client.

It’s confusing because my two friends who use this agency are making $40k-$100k a month, and I’m barely getting $4k-$8k, mostly from my Local Services Ads.

You should just fire the agency.

$500 in a place like LA? That budget isn’t going to make much of an impact.

Yeah, it used to be $1,000. They lowered it saying, ‘We’re not delivering results, so let’s drop the cost.’

I think they want to keep me as a client without losing money on their end.

What’s weird is that two buddies of mine are using the same agency and paying $1k a month, but they’re earning big. Meanwhile, I’m stuck barely breaking even.

I don’t do local SEO myself, but I know someone who’s great at it. Message me if you want their info.

So, your rankings have improved, right?

That’s why rankings and traffic aren’t the best indicators.

Yeah, some of my pages rank on organic search and Maps, but I’m not getting any actual leads or conversions from it.

Maybe your website is the problem. Can you share the link?
