True, it’s always evolving. I thought AI might kill SEO at one point, but instead, we just need to stay ahead of the trends and adapt.

Haha, exactly!
Honestly, I hate SEO… but it pays the bills.
Why I really enjoy SEO:
- I get to mix data-driven strategies with intuition, and you need both to succeed.
- I work with developers on the small details and talk strategy with CEOs and CFOs.
- My top traffic source is also my biggest rival… the back-and-forth with Google keeps things exciting.
- If you’re okay with uncertainty, this job is super fun and rewarding.
- In most companies, SEO delivers better returns than any other marketing channel.
It’s all about the challenge.
People make it sound complicated, but the basics never change. Once you get those down, you’ve got SEO figured out.
I mostly work with small businesses, and it’s amazing to see them grow! Watching them open new locations, hire more staff, or even sell their businesses for a profit because of my work makes it all worth it.
SEO hasn’t just helped me build and grow my own businesses; it’s helped my clients achieve financial security for their families. That’s the real heart of SEO for me.
Helping small businesses grow into ones that can compete with the bigger players.
The fans.
It’s all about the competition.
I love the constant battles.
It’s so dynamic. There’s no one-size-fits-all answer.
Solving complex problems that feel like black-box puzzles.
The mix of challenges and uncertainty.
It pays the bills.
It feels like solving a puzzle where the rules keep changing… tough but so satisfying when you figure it out.
