Another Day, Another Pinterest Post

Congratulations! I’m still figuring out how to use Pinterest effectively. Do you create 8-13 different pins daily, and do they all point to the same outbound link or various blog posts?

Thank you! I create 8-13 different pins, and they do NOT all link to the same URL. In fact, I try to space them out as much as I can, typically waiting at least 3 days before reposting similar content.

Looks like everyone and their mothers are jumping onto Pinterest now. But little do they realize that many who have been pinning for years and have thousands of pins have gone out of business.

I’m really focused on diversifying traffic. You’re right, Pinterest could fizzle out just like any other platform. Its algorithm could change, terms may shift, or it might even close down. Diversification is vital. I know accounts that have maintained 350-500k outbound clicks monthly for 3 years, relying on Pinterest as their main traffic source. So, what exactly happened to those others—you mentioned they just stopped succeeding?

It’s just like SEO: there’s nowhere to hide. Adapting is key. But Pinterest is popular at the moment, so we should take advantage of it while it lasts!

Good point! I’m on the fence about committing completely, but I will give it one last push. There’s a chance—though my niche is WordPress, which has daunting keyword difficulty.

Wow, that’s fantastic. Congratulations and keep up the great work!

Wow, 28k outbound clicks is incredible! :muscle: Are you also using paid pins or just organic ones?

Thank you!

Congratulations! Can you share what niche your blog focuses on?

Wellness.

Is that total impressions/outbound clicks over the last 7 months or just for a single month?

Those figures are for the last 30 days. It took a little over seven months to get to this point.

Congrats! I really want to dive into Pinterest, but it can be time-consuming to design and create pins. Do you write and then make pins too? How do you manage everything?

Honestly, I’m barely managing! Haha. I wish I could write and pin more, but it’s tricky. Start with maybe 3 pins a day to ease into it. The results will motivate you to keep going.

@CharlotteAmelia
Thanks! It can be draining, but hopefully, all this effort will pay off.

Fantastic—your hard work is paying off! Keep pushing!
