Check if you can access [yourdomain].com/ads.txt. If something shows up there, like a list of advertisers, then it’s set up properly.
If not, you can try Googling how to add an ads.txt file with your hosting or search for a plugin to do it for you. There are lots of tutorials out there.

I just checked, and there’s a long list of advertisers showing up, so I guess it’s set up right. I still don’t know why they’re not showing in my content though.
