I basically blog with what inspires me and comes to mind, I want a lot of various topics eventually on my blog. Does anyone else do this? I know it might not pay the bills but it’s definitely a passion of mine. I hope someday I can make a side income from it
Absolutely! We want more writers just like you. In all honesty, I believe that the SEO nonsense killed much of the allure of blogs, which is why content production has shifted to social media, where quality and quantity are more important. Many of the outdated guidelines are no longer valid due to recent Google adjustments, so why not use this to discover your passion and have fun? You can never be sure where it will go!
Those were the days I miss. I began as a personal blogger before branching out into other areas after seeing others succeed financially in those endeavours. I miss reading about intimate subjects to learn more about the bloggers. I’m cheering you on!
I started my blog only to let my ideas fall into the void. I don’t want to bother people that I genuinely know.
Indeed, without a doubt. On my blog, I mostly accomplish two things. I share updates on my life on Tuesdays, discussing fascinating and enjoyable things I’ve done or been working on during the last week. Every Thursday, I share a post about something I’ve been curious to learn more about. These topics usually fall under the categories of spirituality, lifestyle, and health and wellness. I’ve always been a jack of all crafts and a master of none, so I know I would grow quite bored if I wrote about just one topic. I enjoy learning about a wide range of subjects and topics and sharing what I discover. That’s the only thing that suits me. Many individuals in this room disagree with this strategy, yet I think the best thing to do is whatever you will stick to. Create quality content, and traffic and engagement will come eventually.
In essence, SEO has ruined the majority of blogging experiences. I understand it for business sites, but it’s horrible for personal blogs to pursue the SEO path.

I look for personal blogs that foster a relationship with me and don’t bombard me with affiliate links. Furthermore, it makes no difference how little substance there is—the reader is searching for something new or for a shared experience.
I can’t provide you a “this is what worked for me” experience because I’m still a novice. Nonetheless, it appears that other people’s opinions on narrowing down are crucial to make the blog memorable to readers. If your blog covers a variety of topics, consider trying to identify a recurring theme and promoting it that way to make it stand out. I personally have the same goal for my blog—to write about my ideas and experiences—but the majority of those sharings centre on a religious concept that I hope will speak to other believers, so for the time being that’s my perspective. I keep the remainder in my own journal so I may refer to it later for inspiration. Wishing you luck!
