Buying Backlinks from Fiverr

Hey everyone! We’ve launched a new website in the crypto niche, but our domain rating (DR) is pretty low. We’re considering buying some backlinks from Fiverr for the first time. We checked out some high-rated gigs, but we’re a bit worried about potential penalties. Can anyone share their experiences or recommend a good approach for Fiverr backlinks?

Buying backlinks from Fiverr and calling it SEO is like farting and claiming you’re playing the trumpet.

I’m totally stealing that and passing it off as my own comment from now on!

I once had this wild idea for an invention called the ‘butt trumpet.’ You’d fart into it, and it would make music!

Seriously, don’t do it. It’s probably going to do more harm than good.

You always get what you pay for, my friend.

Buying backlinks from Fiverr is like playing Russian roulette! :slot_machine:

Only accurate comment in this thread!

It’s really unlikely to have any significant impact, whether positive or negative.

I’d rather have one solid outreach backlink from a trustworthy source than a thousand useless Fiverr links.

Why do you want to directly increase the DA/DR?

We want to boost our DA/DR to rank for some keywords, as our current ratings are below the 10 threshold. We’re aiming for at least a 20 to rank for some specific low-competition keywords.

@Scarlet
But why would increasing your DA/DR help you rank for certain keywords? They aren’t metrics in Google’s algorithm.

Backlinks? :thinking: Backlinks are the number one ranking factor according to Google! We use Ahrefs to assess keyword difficulty, and we need at least DA/DR of 10 to rank for certain low-difficulty keywords.

@Scarlet
Sure, backlinks are crucial, but DA is a metric invented by Moz, and DR is by Ahrefs. You need the right kind of backlinks, not just any backlinks. There are services out there that claim to boost your DA and DR to 50+ for a few hundred bucks, but I can guarantee those won’t rank you for anything because DA and DR can easily be manipulated.

Google has confirmed that backlinks aren’t even a top-three ranking factor.

Google says a lot of things, and trust me, they’re looking out for their own interests, not yours.

Anyone who knows SEO would probably agree. I know sites with no backlinks that rank well for competitive search terms, and the opposite is true too.
