I’m on the hunt for a tool that can show me the number and maybe the quality of backlinks on available domains.
Most domain hunting tools can do this! For example, DomCop integrates with Moz and Majestic to provide that info.

Thanks! I’ll give it a look!
Yep, there are several SEO tools that can help you check the number and quality of backlinks for available domains. Ahrefs’ Site Explorer is great for this, as it gives detailed backlink profiles, including the count of referring domains and their quality. Moz’s Link Explorer does something similar, providing insights into a domain’s backlink count and authority. These tools can be super helpful for evaluating domains before you buy!
@Bruno
Awesome! Do these tools also let you know if the domains are available to purchase?
You can actually get this info for free with Google Search Engine Console!

But can it help you search for domains that you don’t own?
SEMRush can help, and Bing Webmaster Tools is free and provides all the backlinks. You should check out our blog post titled “Free Backlink Checker Primary Position” for more info!
