How Do I Determine the Right Image Size for My WordPress Blog?

Wassup…

I’m having trouble figuring out the correct size for the featured images on my WordPress blog. No matter what I try, the images either expand too much or don’t fit well, ruining the look of my posts.

I’ve already experimented with a few sizes, including 150x150 pixels and 1080x1080 pixels, but nothing seems to work quite right. I’m not sure if there’s a standard size I should be using or if there’s something else I’m missing.

Does anyone know how to determine the right dimensions for featured images in WordPress? Any tips on how to ensure they look good and don’t distort would be really helpful

If the picture isn’t a star picture or a big picture where clarity is important (like a portfolio gallery), I try to keep it under 1 MB. Anything smaller than 500kb is great. You can always do a light house review to find out how it fasts up your page.
