How Do You Guys Reach 1,000 Subscribers?

Hey guyz,

I recently hit the 100 subscriber mark on my blog, and I’m excited about the progress! But now I’m wondering how to speed things up and reach 1,000 subscribers.

For those of you who have hit that milestone, what did you do to get there? Was there anything specific that really helped increase your growth rate? Did you change your content strategy, use different marketing methods, or something else?

I got just under 1,000 subscribers by offering a set of downloadable documents. I shared it on the right forums, like www.bloggingmates.com.

Make sure what you offer has real value. Don’t make it look like you’re trying to sell something, or you could get banned.

Also, remember that many people use temporary email accounts just to download your content…Hope this helps…

Cool, but what incentive they have for downloading your content, I feel like people are afraid of downloading things off the web.

The incentive I’m offering is solid content. My website clearly focuses on the subject, and people know that downloading a PDF or Word doc is safe.

They have two options: either read all the articles separately and download each template one by one, or get everything in one quick download. This approach connected with people more than I expected.

Are we talking about email subscribers here? In that case, offer a freebie (PDF) in exchange for the email address and your conversion rate will improve

Generating faceless videos by using my blog. But still have not found any viral video yet.

I share my blog on social media and ask friends to help spread the word. I also do a simple exchange: if you subscribe to my blog, I’ll subscribe to yours.
