How Much Money do you Make from Your Blog with Mediavine Journey?

Hi!

This is to motivate me as well as my fellow hardworking new bloggers who’re working their butts off to reach the 10K sessions and start monetizing their blog with Mediavine Journey ads.

I’d like to know the number of your blog posts and your average word count per article, if possible.

Compared to Adsense, you will receive 7–10X more. Depending on the topic, traffic location, and sources, the average RPM ranges from $20 to $30.

I’ve been using Adsense for a while now, so I thought I’d try a new site for my adventure. For US viewers, the rpm is set to 2usd. The advertisements load slowly, there appears to be a lot of missed clicks that are not being tracked, and it takes a very long time to obtain inventory. Not a great experience thus far

I was just approved on Grow. I’ll have to wait to see my first day’s pay. It will take some time for the RPM to represent your specialisation, based on my experience with other networks. Accurately estimating earnings is quite difficult as each of us receives unique traffic from various sources, and that’s what counts most. Following the change in May, my traffic decreased, and it took more than two months for it to increase again.

First of all, congratulations on your perseverance and hard work! as it’s so difficult! I have between 800–1200 words in each of my 300 articles, so don’t worry too much about the word limit; instead, make sure that your posts are well optimised for search engines. I currently have about 31k sessions each month after being approved for Journey in June with 16k sessions. Right now, I make about $250 each month, but bear in mind that this varies depending on your traffic, where it comes from, and how your RPM is determined, so don’t compare yourself to others too much.

If you produce long form content or travel as your niche, then go for the journey; if you write 300–400 words of material, your rpm will stay low. Even if your traffic is really high, you won’t make any money until you have adequate interaction time on your content because the advertisements take at least three to four seconds to load.

The HCU deleted my blog, which I worked on for two years. Right now, I barely make enough money to meet my expenses, but I keep it going because I’m pleased of the job I’m doing.

As a news portal I use Rankmath and Mediavine Journey, which is our RPM 3usd, and I write most of my pieces in the range of 150 to 300 words. I only started using Mediavine Journey last week.

Not to add, I was accepted for 5,000 sessions.
