How often do you write new blog posts

Do you post every day My posts take a lot of energy, so while I’d love to post daily, I usually end up doing so every second or third day to keep from burning out

It varies for me Once a week, once a month, or even once a year My blog has been around since 2008 with over 400 posts So if I lose interest for a year, that’s fine, my blog will still be there and still get traffic

I post 1-2 times a week I put a lot of effort into my posts and take original photos I often work on multiple drafts at once, which gives me 1-1.5 weeks to develop each post Plus, I plan my topics for the month in advance

Do you use AI tools like ChatGPT to help with your posts I’m curious since I’m starting my own blog

I write everything myself Sometimes I’ll ask it to help with an outline, but I usually prefer my own outline I find ChatGPT’s suggestions to be a bit cheesy and not really what I’m looking for

@MarkJones
That’s frustrating I also use ChatGPT for outlines, and sometimes it gives generic ideas that help pad my articles

I have conversations with ChatGPT and share those talks monthly but there’s barely any engagement and yet I still enjoy it

@YukiJane
That sounds interesting I do that too sometimes when I need help sorting through ideas It feels like I’m chatting with someone who gives good advice

I totally agree—great advice, and it’s so patient with my wandering thoughts What will your blog focus on if you don’t mind sharing

I post once a week I have an older blog, so I don’t write that often anymore

This month, since I’m not busy, I can manage 2-3 posts a week but when life gets busy, I may forget about my blog for months

I aim for once a week It takes me quite a while to write each post

A good question to ask is not just how often but why you’re posting Also, what are your Ahrefs Domain Rating and impressions

I think someone with a lower Domain Rating might need to post more often to be found

We post daily, translated into 7 languages

As my schedule allows Sometimes I post multiple times a day and sometimes it’s hard to get even one in a week

You can schedule your posts depending on your writing topics If you’re covering current events, scheduling might not work well I write in batches and schedule three articles a week I used to schedule a month ahead, but that’s really draining

I post weekly Most of my posts are over 2000 words with my own edited photos I wish I could write more, but it’s tough to balance with everything else

Sometimes I think about splitting my long posts into shorter ones to post more often

@Magdalina
My posts often exceed 2500 words I’ve been reading that lately, length isn’t as crucial as covering the topic thoroughly So I’ll focus on ensuring the topic is well covered rather than stressing about length

My articles are usually well researched and detailed with my original photos

It usually depends on my schedule My goal is at least one post weekly, but with a full-time job, a wife, and kids, I often write late at night when I’m not busy with family Sometimes I write more than one post, some weeks only manage one

I’m aiming for at least once a week When I’m in a writing mood, I try to brainstorm and schedule several ideas and articles
