I was trying to fix an issue with my phone number and thought closing my account and reactivating it might solve it. But after closing it, I accidentally clicked sign up instead of sign in and ended up creating a new AdSense account.
My YouTube channel is linked to the old account. Is there any way to reopen the old one, or is it gone for good?
Close the new account you made, then try signing back into the old one and reactivate it. If it keeps redirecting you to the new account, try doing this in an incognito tab.

I did exactly that, but when I close the new account and try reactivating the old one, it just reactivates the new account instead. It feels like the old one is overwritten.

Once you’ve closed the new account, try logging into the old one using an incognito tab in your browser.

I tried that too, but I still get the same issue. It doesn’t let me pick which account I log into.

You should be able to pick the account by entering the correct login email.
I’m not sure how to recover the deleted account, but maybe check with support or search for guides online. They might help!
