I just set up a WordPress site to serve as the blog section of an ed-tech platform, and the first plugin I installed was Yoast SEO. I’m looking for recommendations on other plugins that might be useful for the success of the blog.
It would be really helpful if you could explain the reasons behind your recommendations, rather than just listing them, to aid in my decision-making process.
Thanks in advance.
Edit: I see a lot of people recommending Rank Math, so I’m going to give it a try.
Hey Danielle, SEO Framework is great it’s lightweight and comes with a solid set of free features.
I need a few extra features for SEO metadata, naming patterns, and schema that are easier to manage than hardcoding in native WordPress.
I don’t want Yoast’s beginner-level traffic light system and keyword “optimization” tips. I also don’t need its bulky UI or the scary-looking (but harmless) warnings that confuse clients and lead to unnecessary changes or questions. Plus, Yoast has had a history of bugs.
