I’ve been thinking of starting a blog focused on mental health and wellness for nurses. I’m a nurse myself, and I deal with anxiety, so I thought it could be really helpful for others too. I have some content ideas that could last me about 3-4 months, but I’m struggling to decide where to promote the posts. I’m considering Pinterest, but it seems more popular for niches like fashion, beauty, or mom topics. Any suggestions would be a big help .
Why not try nursing forums and nursing Facebook groups? They might have more interest in your topics.
Facebook could be great… maybe create your own group where you post regularly. Also, some other groups allow links if that’s an option for you. Pinterest isn’t really ideal for nurse topics, but it’s worth testing with some good visuals. Instagram might be a good one to look at too.

Pinterest usually works best for highly visual topics… like beauty, decor, etc. It’s worth a shot, though .
I actually use both Pinterest and Facebook for my blog. I write about crypto and strange creatures, and both platforms help me reach people.

Just click my handle, and under my posts, look for the essay intro that has a link marked ‘Full Essay’. Hope it helps .
Have you thought about going further into the field and becoming a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner? As a Licensed Counselor, I know there’s a big need for qualified Psych NPs.
Why not use Instagram? You could post a video each day sharing tips or insights on medical cases… it would help get your blog noticed. If you’re short on time, I’d be happy to help you with it.

Honestly, you may run out of topics quickly with a blog focused just on mental health for nurses. Maybe try a lifestyle vlog where you share short videos or reels instead?
