Curious about how many followers you have on Pinterest and whether the views come mostly from Pinterest followers or your blog followers.
At the end of the day, you are still building your brand on a third-party platform. This practice is not advisable because social media platforms are highly volatile and they keep changing their Terms of Service from time to time. In such a case, if your account gets caught, you will lose everything.
Before leveraging Instagram, focus on growing your blog and let your audience know you are there. Then you can start growing your Instagram!
It’s against Pinterest’s Terms of Service to sell an account. You think you’ve worked on the Pinterest account, but you’ve really worked on your blog traffic from Pinterest from that account. It’s not going to do the same for anybody else! You probably have years worth of pins on there.
First of all, the person might remove them all, and then your traffic will plummet. Second of all, they’re going to be pissed when they get no traffic whatsoever because they have a couple of hundred pins over a few months. Additionally, you could suck at Instagram and be great at Pinterest; I know because I suck at Instagram but I have over 100,000 followers on my Pinterest accounts! So there’s no proof that you would actually be able to do Instagram.
If you’d like, I can buy your Pinterest traffic.
Don’t sell it; that’s your portfolio. Just connect it to Instagram.
You should start using Pinterest more rather than thinking of selling, like everyone has said. You can earn affiliate revenue through Pinterest.
The competition on Pinterest is crazy now, and getting that kind of impression would require a lot of HARD work. You have a goldmine, and it’d be best to hold it. Try Instagram and see if it works. Even if it does, the traffic can’t be compared to what you will get with Pinterest. I know many niche celebrities who grew on Instagram first and are now using Pinterest to grow both their websites and Instagram account because it’s just more effective.
I heard that Instagram and Facebook don’t work well with blogs, and Pinterest is a real champion here.
Very stupid idea. Bro, don’t do this. Besides, you should do both Pinterest and Instagram to gain huge traffic for your site.
I would never let go of a traffic generator just like that.
Pinterest sends you traffic; Instagram not so much. Instagram is only good for brand partnerships in my experience.
Wow, super awesome, how do you do that?
