Struggling with Adsense for a non-English blog… any better options?

Hey everyone,

I run a blog from the Netherlands with 70k monthly sessions (115k pageviews). Adsense hasn’t been working out for me; the RPM is stuck at 1-2. I’m looking for better ways to monetize. I’ve been rejected by Mediavine and Journey, probably because my blog isn’t in English. I also had a bad experience with Ezoic—completely ruined my last site. Any suggestions from anyone who’s been in the same boat?

You could try focusing on affiliate programs, building an email list for monetization, or getting sponsored posts.

Any advice on how to land sponsored posts? I haven’t had much luck with them so far.

What exactly happened with Ezoic?

They added way too many ads, which made my site super slow. Revenue was decent for a while, but traffic dropped by 95% eventually.

Here are a few options you can check out:

  • Media.net: Contextual ads powered by Yahoo and Bing.
  • PropellerAds: Good for push notifications, pop-unders, and interstitials.
  • Revcontent: Great for native ads with strong engagement and quality.

@Alexa
I’ve read some bad reviews about PropellerAds—do you use them?

Also, is Revcontent good for non-English blogs?

Have you considered Valueimpression?

Try checking out NEWORMEDIA.COM.

Maybe look into Journey.

Hi there! I’m a new blogger also based in the Netherlands. Would love to connect and exchange tips and experiences!

You sure about that?

@Hacks
Haha, are you really sure?

I’m not super experienced, but you could try Journey by Mediavine. They only need 10k monthly sessions to qualify. Not sure how they handle non-English blogs, though. You might also want to look into Amazon affiliate marketing—set up an Associates Central account and see how it goes.
