Many people here have started blogs. Some are beginners and some are experts. Some are making a lot of money and others aren’t.
What’s one tip you’d give to improve blogs or income?

Focus on building real connections with your readers. It’s not just about content—be genuine, listen to them, and create valuable content. That trust will eventually lead to more traffic and income!

I agree, but how? I find it hard to connect with my audience on my website. I don’t get much interaction compared to social platforms. Any tips to get to know your audience better?
@BloggingBuddy
It can be tricky! Try using polls or surveys to get feedback, and check your analytics to see what topics resonate. Building an email list also helps. You can use tools like Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics to track user behavior and gain insights.
@Joy
Thanks for the tips! I didn’t know about Microsoft Clarity. I need to dive into Google Analytics more. My email list isn’t growing either—my freebie isn’t attracting sign-ups yet, but I guess it’s all part of the process!
@BloggingBuddy
You’re welcome! Growing an email list can be slow. Try testing different freebies or promote your list on social media. Blogging is definitely a marathon, not a sprint!

Be careful! If you engage too much, you’ll end up spending hours replying to emails and messages. It can become overwhelming. Protect your time and set boundaries.
@esleystanley
Totally get that! Setting clear expectations for response times helps manage that. You’re not an AH for protecting your time.
Focus on creating genuine, valuable content. Consistency is key—find a posting schedule that works for you. Engaging with readers in comments and on social media helps build a loyal community. And be patient—growth takes time!
Authenticity and quality are the most important things right now. If your content is not genuine, people will lose interest. Always aim to provide the value they’re looking for.
Don’t trust advice from anyone pushing affiliate links. Many are just out to make money off of you. One of the worst is ‘you have to be on WordPress to make money’—just an excuse to get you to use their affiliate links!
