What’s your all time favourite blogging platform?

To all the bloggers out there that have been blogging for a while - whether or not you’ve tried multiple platforms or just one - what’s your favourite and why?

I blog for non-monetary purposes but am interested in everyone’s opinions

Also, is there a platform that you particularly dislike/find annoying?

My favourite varies based on the project’s objectives and resources. Not everyone fits into one size.

My firsthand knowledge, which does not include all blogging platforms, is another limitation. Also, a lot of items that aren’t really blogs appear to be referred to as blogs by users in this subreddit.

I suppose Blogger is my favourite free blogging platform. For the majority of use cases, it outperforms WordPress.com (also free, with an asterisk).

WordPress.org is my recommendation for blogs or websites that have the resources and an IT team (which may just be you, I mean). If you’re tech savvy, though, there are alternative highly attractive systems like Joomla.

WordPress is favoured because of how easy it is to use. WordPress allows you to easily develop a beautiful website even if you’re not tech-savvy. Because WordPress is search engine friendly, it performs better than most CMS.

Checking out Micro.blog may be worthwhile. It’s difficult to top as far as all-in-one solutions go. I doubt I’ve ever seen a more straightforward platform.

A simple blog costs $5 a month. That covers both bespoke domains and hosting. It comes with all the necessities right out of the box, along with a few entertaining themes (but not many).

Your postings are sent to your email subscribers as soon as you submit them, and you may get email assistance for $10 a month. No independent newsletter to fiddle with.

Worth taking a look at, perhaps!

Because SubPage is so basic and has most of the functionality needed to create a blogging platform, I like it more.

Bearblog.dev is easy to use, affordable, quick, and capable of fulfilling all of my needs.
