Where do you share your blog? Trying to find the best spots…

Hey everyone, I’m just wondering where you’ve found the most success in promoting your blog? Right now, I’m using Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and I just joined X (formerly Twitter). I’m also thinking about trying out Pearltrees and Mix. My biggest following is on Facebook, but they’re mostly people I know. I started a health and wellness blog back in August (https://nourishandflex.com) and I’m really loving it. I don’t want to be on too many platforms, but I’m curious what others are doing. Thanks!

Pinterest can bring in a lot of traffic. Consistency is key though.

Do you use Pinterest for your own blog? What’s your approach?

I saw decent traffic this month, but my Google Search Console was showing something different. I figured out all the traffic was coming from Pinterest. And I only posted about 30 pins. Now I’m planning to be more consistent.

People say you should post between 10 to 30 pins daily. It’s definitely working for me.

Could you share links to your blog and Pinterest? I’d love to take a look and learn from it.

Can you also DM me your blog and Pinterest? I’ve tried Pinterest but didn’t post that many pins a day, so didn’t get much out of it.

That’s interesting! I’ve only been pinning my blog posts and products, so maybe a few pins per week. Are you pinning other people’s stuff too?

No, I focus on creating fresh pins. That’s what works best for me.

@Leeland
Wow, creating that many pins sounds like a lot of work!

It definitely is! Some people use pin generators if they can afford it. Personally, I can make around 3 to 4 pins a day at most.

I honestly haven’t seen much success on any platform, and I’ve tried around 10 of them. Eventually, I started focusing on SEO because people coming from search are more likely to be interested in what I’m writing about than random social media users.

That said, I haven’t really built up a lot of visibility yet, so I’m still figuring things out.

@MegWhitgal
You should try posting on forums like Reddit and Quora, they usually rank high on search engines. Just Google the keywords you’re targeting and respond to relevant threads.

It depends on where your target audience is. You should focus on platforms where your audience hangs out and offer helpful content. Pinterest works really well for visual niches like fashion, crafts, and parenting. One of my blogs does better on Facebook because it’s aimed at older adults.

If your niche fits, Pinterest can be great.

I’ve also seen some success in Facebook groups, and Threads has been alright for me.

Instagram and X have been a waste of time in terms of clicks, but engagement is okay.

Focus on Pinterest, TikTok, and Instagram. Put in effort on those and you won’t need much else. SEO is important too, and give it time to grow.
