Revenue dropped 50% since 1.11.2024. Ads displayed also dropped by 50%. My site traffic stayed about the same (+0.5%). My website ranks number 1 in its category. No changes were made to the website, just added new content.
I have another site ranked number 2 in the same category, but there’s no change in its revenue.
Does anyone know why the number of displayed ads and the revenue dropped?
Lately, it feels like Google is trying to limit what it pays creators. They seem to do whatever it takes to cut the revenue. We never really get any answers for why this happens. The key is to not rely solely on Google, but also explore other revenue streams like affiliate marketing.
Bro, Adsense is dead. Less and less search traffic due to tools like ChatGPT. So, no matter your website’s ranking, it won’t help much. That’s the reality. Plus, the remaining ad revenue mostly goes to Adsense, not the publisher. They made HCU to protect the shareholders.
